Te Waka Dragons had the pleasure once again of hosting this year’s QUT Corporate Regatta at Southbank on Saturday 23rd August. With a record 24 teams entered, training sessions were scheduled for 3 weekends before the big day. Last year it was great to see the team members bond with each other and their Te Waka Team Captains and that was the ase again this year. Even though it rained for the entire day, the participants were troopers and hung in there until the end! Last year’s winners, Cliffhangers did their best to defend their title but had to hand the mantle over to Team Singapore this year!
The first 3 placed teams Team Singapore, Cliffhangers and The Rowing Dead have received free entry in the Te Waka’s 2015 Corporate Regatta. We look forward to having them as part of the event.
