From 2007, the Queensland Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $73,765 to the club for the purchase of two 20 seater dragon boats & trailers, rescue boat & trailer, lifejackets, training equipment and regatta equipment.

In November 2008, the club was successful in receiving grant funds of $5,000 from Queensland Government Department of Local Government, Sport and Development Program.

In 2014 and 2016, the club was successful in receiving grant funds totalling $6,300 from the Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Suburban Initiative Fund to support our Club Corporate Regatta.

In February 2019, the club was successful in receiving grant funds totalling $8,250 from the Brisbane City Council Lord Mayor’s Building Stronger Communities grant to support our Club in updating our club Constitution and Bylaws.  
 

In January 2020, the Queensland Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $21,150 to the club for the purchase of three ergometers & 3 tents. In February 2020, the club was successful in receiving grant funds of $2,000 from the Queensland Government’s Active Clubs for training to improve our ability to manage the organisation to support dragonboating at Albion’.

In June 2020, the club was successful in receiving grant funds of $2,000 from the Queensland Government’s COVID SAFE Active Clubs Kickstart Program.
